Terms & Conditions for ReOpine

Paradocs Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., on behalf of itself and its affiliates/group companies owning the brand “Reopine”, is the author and publisher of the internet resource www.reopine.com, www.reopine.in and the mobile application ‘Reopine’ (together, “Website”).
Welcome to ReOpine, an application designed to facilitate scheduling appointments and consultations with super-specialty doctors for second opinions. By accessing or using the ReOpine website or mobile application (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and ReOpine (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company located in India. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (available at Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. We may modify these Terms at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting on the website. Your continued use of the Service after modifications signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
The Agreement is published in compliance of, and is governed by the provisions of Indian law, including but not limited to:
- The Indian Contract Act, 1872,
- The (Indian) Information Technology Act, 2000, and
- The rules, regulations, guidelines and clarifications framed there under, including the (Indian) Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011 (the “SPI Rules”), and Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (the “IG Rules”).
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if aged 13–18. Users under 13 are prohibited from using the Service.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and consultation scheduling.
- Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements under Indian law.
3. Purpose of the Service
ReOpine is a platform that connects Users with independent, licensed specialty/super specialty doctors (“Doctors”) for second or first -opinion consultations (“Consults”). We facilitate scheduling and communication but do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatments ourselves. ReOpine is not a healthcare provider, and no doctor-patient relationship is established with ReOpine through the Service.
The Services may change from time to time, at the sole discretion of ReOpine, and the Agreement will apply to your visit to and your use of the Website/Mobile Application to avail the Service, as well as to all information provided by you on the Website at any given point in time.
Health-related information is used solely for enabling consultations and is treated with heightened confidentiality.
4. Consultations (“Consults”)
- Definition: A “Consult” is a scheduled interaction (virtual via video/phone or in-person, as specified during booking) with a Doctor to obtain an opinion on a medical condition or treatment plan.
- Scheduling: Consults are booked based on Doctor availability. You must attend at the scheduled time or reschedule/cancel per our policy (detailed at booking).
- Format: Consults may be virtual or in-person, depending on the Doctor’s offerings. For virtual Consults, you are responsible for technical requirements (e.g., internet, device compatibility).
- Consultation scheduled through Reopine may use 3rd party services for video/tele consultation, (e.g., Whatsapp/ googlemeet /any other). Reopine cannot be held responsible for any technical issues arises during consultation. Using such services may require high speed internet service, which shall be user’s responsibility to arrange.
- Cancellation/Refund: You may cancel or reschedule per our policy. Refunds are available only if: (i) the Doctor cancels, (ii) technical issues on our end prevent the Consult, or (iii) the Doctor violates applicable laws (subject to our investigation). No refunds will be issued for User no-shows or cancellations outside the policy window (i.e., within 12hrs of booking)
- Conduct: You must not use abusive language or raise irrelevant personal queries during Consults. We reserve the right to terminate Consults and block Users for such behavior, with no refund.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service lawfully and only to seek second or first opinions based on your requirements.
- Provide accurate medical history and documents for Consults to enable informed opinions.
- Consult your primary healthcare provider before acting on any second opinion.
- Not use the Service for emergencies—seek immediate in-person care if required.
- Keep your account secure and not share login credentials.
- Share images/videos of affected areas only if necessary for diagnosis and via the Service platform, not external channels, unless otherwise specified & required by the Doctor.
6. Doctor Interactions
You have the following rights regarding your information:
- Doctors are independent practitioners, not employees or agents of ReOpine.
- We verify Doctor credentials but are not liable for the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of their opinions.
- Although Reopine screens and vets the information/details submitted by the Doctors about their credentials, experiences & patients’ testimony, it cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies or incompleteness represented from it, despite such reasonable efforts.
- Consultations may be limited by the information you provide, as Doctors do not examine you in person or conduct diagnostic tests unless otherwise arranged.
7. Fees and Payments
- Fees for Consults are disclosed before booking and payable via third-party payment providers (e.g., app stores, payment gateways), subject to their terms.
- Fees are non-refundable except as outlined in Section 4. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 10 working days to your original payment method.
- In case of payment disputes, contact us at support@reopine.com. We are not liable for payment failures due to incorrect details or third-party issues (including bank/payment gateways).
8. End-user account & data Privacy
- The terms “personal information” and “sensitive personal data or information” are defined under the SPI Rules, and are reproduced in the Privacy Policy.
- Reopine may by its Services, collect information relating to the devices through which you access the Website, and anonymous data of your usage. The collected information will be used only for improving the quality of Reopine’s services and to build new services.
- The Website allows Reopine to have access to registered Users’ personal email or phone number, for communication purpose so as to provide you a better way of booking appointments and for obtaining feedback in relation to the Practitioners and their practice.
- The Privacy Policy sets out, inter-alia:
- The type of information collected from Users, including sensitive personal data or information;
- The purpose, means and modes of usage of such information;
- How and to whom Reopine will disclose such information; and,
- Other information mandated by the SPI Rules.
- The User is expected to read and understand the Privacy Policy, so as to ensure that he/she/they has/have the knowledge of, inter-alia:
- the fact that certain information is being collected;
- the purpose for which the information is being collected;
- the intended recipients of the information;
- the nature of collection and retention of the information; and
- the name and address of the agency that is collecting the information and the agency that will retain the information; and
- the various rights available to such Users in respect of such information.
- Reopine shall not be responsible in any manner for the authenticity of the personal information or sensitive personal data or information supplied by the User to Reopine or to any other person acting on behalf of Reopine.
- The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the User’s account access information and password, if the User is registered on the Website/App. The User shall be responsible for all usage of the User’s account and password, whether or not authorized by the User. The User shall immediately notify Reopine of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of the User’s account or password. Although Reopine will not be liable for your losses caused by any unauthorized use of your account, you may be liable for the losses of Reopine or such other parties as the case may be, due to any unauthorized use of your account.
- If a User provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete (or becomes untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete), or Reopine has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Reopine has the right to discontinue the Services to the User at its sole discretion.
- Reopine may use such information collected from the Users from time to time for the purposes of debugging customer support related issues.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its content, design, and branding, is owned by ReOpine or its licensors – Paradocs Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific results from Consults.
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, emotional distress) arising from your use of the Service or reliance on second/first opinions from the consults.
Our total liability for all claims under these Terms shall not exceed INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand).
11. Disclaimers
The Service and Consults are not substitutes for in-person medical care. For emergencies, diagnoses, or treatments, consult a qualified healthcare provider directly.
We do not guarantee the accuracy or applicability of opinions provided by Doctors.
Doctors are licensed to practice in India; it is your responsibility to confirm eligibility for consultation from your location.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service without notice for breaches of these Terms, suspected illegal activity, or operational reasons.
You may delete your account by contacting us at support@reopine.com. Termination does not affect obligations (e.g., payments) accrued prior.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
14. Dispute Resolution
Disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, unless prohibited by law. You waive the right to join class actions against ReOpine and Paradocs Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.

- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain effective.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and any additional agreements you accept (e.g., payment terms), constitute the entire agreement between you and ReOpine regarding the Service, superseding prior communications.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters).
